Trainee QA Engineer

Job Description: 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Manual Tester to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by executing manual test cases and identifying defects. This position is ideal for individuals who have some exposure to software testing and are eager to develop their skills further. 

Job Responsibilities: 

•       Execute manual test cases for various software applications to ensure their quality and functionality.
•       Develop, document, and maintain test cases and test scripts based on requirements.
•       Identify, log, and track bugs using bug tracking tools, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
•       Conduct regression testing to verify that defects have been fixed and that the software remains stable.
•       Assist in the creation and maintenance of testing documentation and procedures.
•       Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
•       Communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information to the QA Lead and project stakeholders.
•       Work closely with the development team to understand features, functionalities, and technical specifications.

•       Good communication and teamwork abilities.
•       Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and techniques.
•       Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is a plus.
•       Knowledge of SQL and experience with database testing.
•       Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
•       Familiarity with different types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, usability).
•       Exposure to automated testing tools and techniques is a plus but not required.
